What is the Sunnyside Roadshow?
Sunnyside Roadshow is your morning announcements and a great jumpstart to your morning meetings. Each one, a five minute shared experience designed to help students develop the skills they need to thrive in school, and in life. Through hilarious characters, and relatable scenarios, students build confidence, self-awareness, respect, and empathy.
What Makes Us Unique?
It all starts with children! We understand kids and what they relate to, laugh at and learn to love. Our Roadshow episodes are carefully designed to appeal to elementary children from young kindergarteners to savvy fifth graders.
Roadshow characters model good character, build friendships and face real life situations in an authentic and relatable way. Our characters also make mistakes, struggle with emotions, and learn through friendships. Everything they experience becomes a part of your morning discussions, and reference points throughout your school day. Sometimes, it’s easier for a student to talk about a puppet's feelings than their own.
While the Roadshow is fun and engaging for children, it is based on years of working with children and research. Your teachers and administrators can rest assured that behind the fun, there are carefully crafted scripts and lesson guides to facilitate building your school culture.
